Router Setup

There are two ports must be forwarded to the DVR on the routers:
Service Port (or TCP Port ): for DVRNet View client to access DVR from Internet.
HTTP Port (or web port): for web browsers to access DVR from Internet.

If there are multiple DVRs in one local network, the ports should be different. By default, service port is 37777 and http port is 80.

1. D-Link router
Go to "Advanced" tab and "Virtual Server". Enter DVR's IP and port number. Enter same port number in private port and public port. Check "Enable" radio button.

2. Link Sys router
Go to "Application & Gaming" tab and "UPnP Forwarding", enter the external port and internal port (you can use same port number), enter the last decimal digit on the DVR's IP and check the "Enabled".

3. SMC router
Go to "Advanced setup" tab, select "NAT" then select "Virtual Server", enter the DVR's IP address. Enter the same port number in private port and public port.
